Education in Germany

Firstly, in Germany, foreign students can obtain higher education almost free of charge, there are no entrance exams, and can be taught both in German and in English (education in English is also free).

Hence, education in Germany is affordable, and important, qualitative, and the diplomas themselves are highly valued not only among European countries, but also among countries such as England, the United States and Canada (where receiving higher education our students are paying a fairly decent amount of money )

Secondly, Germany is interested in attracting and retaining highly skilled and perspective personnel in the country in various branches of science.

Thirdly, the German government constantly allocates large sums of money for its improvement.

Thus, all of the above factors make German education one of the most affordable and desirable in the world!

Germany has about 400 universities. German universities are divided into private and public; They are divided into: Universität, Fachhochschule Universities, Technische Universitaeten Universities, Padagogische Hochschulen, Theological Colleges, Academies, Administrative Universities (Verwaltungs-fachhochschulen) and special colleges of arts (Kunsthochschule).

As for the duration of training, then the education for a bachelor’s degree is usually 3 years, and for a master’s degree – 1,5-2 years. The academic year consists of two semesters: winter (October-March) and summer (April-September). Reception of documents for admission for the summer semester is carried out until January 15, and for the winter semester till July, 15th.

Some educational institutions may set other timeframes for receiving documents.
